We will manage your employee lists and notify each site of which employees have been randomly selected for testing. This also removes potential management/staff issues by delegating the selection process to an un-biased third party.

Collection Process Saliva

The screening process can be done on-site. DFW will provide a certified employee to come to your facility to administer the test. The whole process can be completed in just 15 minutes. Once the collection process has been completed, the specimen will be forwarded to the pre-assigned SAMHSA-certified laboratory.

Laboratory Testing

All specimens are sent to SAMHSA approved laboratories. Upon arrival at the laboratory, the specimen undergoes a series of accessioning to ensure security. Once the laboratory has completed testing, results are transmitted to our Medical Review Officer. Confirmed positive laboratory test results require additional processing by our Medical Review team.

MRO

Services

We provide comprehensive Medical Review Officer (MRO) services. Our MROs interact with donors whose test results have been confirmed by the laboratory to be positive for one or more of the drugs being tested for. The MRO will determine if any medically verifiable or other alternative reasons exist that may have caused the test to be positive. Authorized written documentation would need to be provided to verify any explanation. The MRO will, when warranted, change the original laboratory result. The medical review procedure is generally completed before the client is contacted.

Our Medical Review Officer Staff

We are very proud of our Medical Review Officers and staff. Every physician on our Medical Review Team has been certified by AAMRO or MROCC, both of which meet the highest professional standards of medical expertise and practical skills. In addition, all staff members regularly attend update training classes. Our medical staff is multi-lingual and very experienced in both regulated and non-regulated drug testing.
